
POLICY
By engaging our services, you agree to adhere to the following terms:
1. Service Agreement:

Local Paws agrees to provide professional dog walking and dog sitting services as specified in the agreed-upon service request.
2. Booking and Payment:

Services must be booked through our official channels (Instagram DM, call or text).

Dog sitting: require a 50% deposit to secure your dates, and the remaining amount due within 48hours after service is completed, Unless otherwise agreed upon.

Dog walking: All ongoing DOG WALKING services are invoiced weekly & due within 48 hours

Accepted forms of payment include [bank transfer, Pay ID, cash].
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling:

Cancellations or rescheduling must be made with at least 48 hours notice prior to the scheduled service.

Cancellations made with less than the specified notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Deposits are non refundable, however, we will happily offer a credit note valid for 6 months.
4. Pet Information:

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information regarding their pet's health, behavior, and any specific needs.

Local Paws is not liable for any issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the Client.
5. Safety and Conduct:

Local Paws employees will exercise reasonable care to ensure the safety of the Client's pet(s) during walks and sitting sessions.

Clients must ensure their pets are up-to-date with vaccinations and free from any contagious illnesses.
6. Emergency Situations:

In the event of an emergency involving the Client's pet, Local Paws will make every effort to contact the Client. If unable to reach the Client, Local Paws is authorized to seek veterinary care at the Client's expense.
7. Property Access:

Clients are responsible for providing access to their property for scheduled services. Any special instructions regarding property access must be communicated in advance.
8. Liability and Insurance:

Local Paws is not responsible for any damage to property, injury to pets, or third-party liability that is not a result of negligence on our part.
9. Behavior and Aggression:

Clients must disclose any known aggressive or potentially dangerous behavior of their pet(s) towards humans or other animals. Local Paws reserves the right to refuse or terminate services in such cases.
10. Media Release:

Clients grant Local Paws the right to use photographs or videos of their pets for social media unless otherwise specified in writing.
11. Governing Law:

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Gold Coast, Queensland, and any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
By engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Local Paws reserves the right to amend these terms at any time, with notice provided to Clients.
